This month we are going to explore Paisley Poor Relief from the Churches point of view. Records dating back into the late 18th Century for the combined Paisley Session give an indication of Income the churches received from their parishoners and how the money was distributed to the Poor of the town.
The August session of our Family History Cafe series will again be held in Blend @ Paisley Arts Centre (15 New St, Paisley PA1 1EZ) between 10 and 11.30am on Saturday 12th July.
The session is free, but we like to support our hosts by purchasing drinks, etc, while we are there.
