In preparation for getting back to work in a few months, I’ve decided to separate the Urban Historian and Genealogy websites. Paisley Genealogy Scotland has been rebranded to Renfrewshire Ancestors and will now have its own website, which can be found at renfrewshireancestors.uk
I will be unable to accept any commissions until late April at the earliest, depending on current medical treatments.
Online Talk – Monday 9th Dec 2024 3pm UK time:
Paisley: Burgh Records & lesser known genealogical resources from the 17th Century
Join me as I discuss records relating to Paisley from the 1600s onwards. Records can be found online and in local archives. Sometimes they are obscure and take time to find. First delivered in 2020 this talk will take place on Zoom.
The talk is free, though donations are encouraged to help cover Zoom costs while I recover from Leukaemia and a Bone Marrow transplant. I hope to return to full-time work early in the new year.
